BSAB 96 : system och tillämpningar - LIBRIS - Kungliga
Systemet består av koder bestående av en serie bokstäver och siffror med tillhörande rubrik som betecknar olika typer av byggdelar eller produktionsresultat. BSAB-systemet används i AMA ( Allmän material- och arbetsbeskrivning ), som kan användas som underlag till Det nuvarande svenska klassifikationssystemet för byggd miljö – BSAB 96 – ägs och förvaltas av Svensk Byggtjänst. BSAB 96 är baserat på ISO 12006 -2, som gavs ut i en ny version 2015, anpassad till digital modellering. En uppdatering av systemet behövde därför göras. För de aktörer som vill använda BSAB i syfte att strukturera information i system, applikationer eller produkter krävs att de tecknar ett Nyttjanderättsavtal BSAB med Svensk Byggtjänst. Exempel på tillämpningar där BSAB kan bidra till en bra och för branschen känd struktur är i CAD-verktyg och kalkylprogramvaror. BSAB 2.0 – bättre kommunikation.
Namnet kommer från Byggandets Samordning AB, det företag som utgav AMA 1972 och då införde BSAB-systemet i stället för SfB-systemet, som hade använts i tidigare AMA-generationer. SfB system, followed by the BSAB system – led to a pioneer status for Sweden (Giertz, 1995). Development projects supported by the now defunct Swedish Council for Building Research (1960–2000) contributed to the homogeneity of procedures used in the sector.
